What is Celebration?
Celebration is an exciting post-prom party for seniors that gives them one last opportunity to celebrate as a class. The goal of this drug- and alcohol-free party is to keep our students safe while giving them a night they will always remember. All seniors, whether or not they attend the prom, are invited to attend Celebration free of charge. Seniors arrive at the high school and are magically transported to a Masquerade Party! Decorations for the Masquerade Party will include visions of Masquerade Party landmarks, icons and fun nightlife. Seniors will enjoy a party featuring entertainment like a DJ, a magician, caricature artists, casino, food, prizes, photo postcards, tattoo artists, karaoke, and more!
When is it?
Celebration 2023 is held at Newton North at 11:30pm – 2:30am on Thursday, June 1st, 2023.
How can I help?
Donate Raffle Prizes: We need 125 more gift cards/items*, to be used as prizes for a rolling raffle which as incentive to keep our students stay at Celebration and safe at one of the riskiest nights for teen driving. Please send/drop off items by May 26th at Beals House Newton North, PTSO/CELEBRATION 457 Walnut Street, Newton, MA 02460 or drop off at 12 Willard Street front porch. Please contact leader Una Simmons.
*Some gift/gift card ideas: gas, coffee, Amazon, Target, CVS, salon, dorm items, insulated cups, chargers, beach towels, jewelry, bags, string lights, golf balls, pjs, baseball hats, concert tickets, etc.
Advertise: Please consider placing an ad in Celebration communications to raise money for the event and to promote your businesses to the NNHS parent/guardian community. For as little as $25, your business will be listed on our website, featured on a poster at the Celebration event. For business donor form, please click here
